About the event
The True Grit Epic is a renowned early-season endurance race held annually in Southern Utah, specifically in the greater St. George area, also known as Greater Zion. Scheduled for March 13-15, 2025, the event offers participants a choice between mountain biking and gravel courses, as well as a multi-day stage race that combines both disciplines.
GRO Races
The mountain bike courses include the NUE Epic 100-mile and 50-mile options, a 50-mile relay, and a 15-mile challenge. These routes are known for their technical challenges, featuring sections like the "Water Fall" descent, demanding riders to exhibit significant skill and determination.
GRO Races
For gravel enthusiasts, the event presents two courses: the "Tough Stuff" 84-mile route and the "Sweet Stuff" 64-mile route. The 84-mile course takes riders through rugged backcountry, ascending over two mountain passes and offering breathtaking desert landscapes. The 64-mile route provides a slightly less demanding yet still challenging experience.
